This scam is fraud – the scammer is trying to get an authorization code – this would give them access to the O2 account. DON’T GIVE THEM THE CODE!
They send a text from the O2 website to your phone – the aim is to change your password and access your account.

O2 know about this – I called them directly afterwards.
